In the book Tuesdays with Morrie there are many powerfull messages and its hard to chose one. The one that stood out to me was"Is this all? Is this all I want? Is something missing? Do you take care of others of take care of yourself? Return Traditional values of reject tradition as useless? Just say no of Just do it all? ". This stood out to me because I stopped and thought about it , such simple questions that lead to big thoughts. Is this really what I want?, I'm I doing everything I can to be the best I can be? What am I going to do with out Maggie(school) in my life? In the chapter when Morrie Talks about regret, Talks about the world culture...Each chapter is powerful and takes you back to experiences and again moves you on how Mitch is relizing and learning so much from Morrie, I don;t even know how to explain it. When Mitch makes a list about topics he wants to talk about with Morrie death, fear, aging, greed, marrige, family, society, forgiveness, the meaning of life.
I also wanted to talk about another quote that I found intresting “Life is a series of pulls back and forth. You want to do one thing, but you are bound to do something else. Something hurts you, yet you know it shouldn’t. You take certain things for granted, even though you know you shouldn’t take anything for granted.” This qoute is powerful as well says alot. In life Morrie says it best You take certain things for granted, even though you know you shouldn;t take anything for granted. The little things such as , having a roof over your head, food, being able to walk, coming to school, a beutiful sunny day. Sometimes you get caught up in work, money, materialistic things and forget about the little things in life that make a difference. I guess I always refer back to whats always in the back of my head. One smile can make a difference, the concept of paying it forward.
I am looking forward to keep reading Tuesdays with Morrie and see what life lessons and inspiring stories Morrie has to share with Mitch.

1. Re-write the title "The Perils of Indifference" in your own words to show that you understand the vocabulary.
The Perlis of Indifference to me was a powerful speech. Not only has there been indifference world wide such as the Holocaust the blood baths in Cambodia and Nigeria, behind the black gates of Auschwitz, 9/11. There is indiffernce everyday in school for example recycling. Recyling is found all over the school left on tables in the common area and in classrooms.
2. The ending of "The Lottery" is shocking for most readers. The graphic violence of the stoning seems completely bizarre for the members of a community that at first appeared so "normal" and passive. Please connect the events in this story to any other situation you have learned about in real life, or a movie or a book.
The Ending in the lottery was shocking to read at the end. Usually the Lottery in our community has be generalized a good thing. But in this story it ended up that someone won the "lottery" and was punished severly and ended with a death. It wasn't crazy psysco people that people usually generalize murders. It was the community and regular people that thought it was okay to throught stones at someone until death. Did everyone agree with it? or Did people follow and think there was no other answer?. I guess you could compare this story to bullying of sometimes in everyday life when you dont speak up for what you think whats right.
3.Elie Wiesel's speech connects with the face that he talks over how "indifference can be harsher then anger". By not caring and saying something, the community is allowing a person who is completely innocent to die each week all because no one says "this is wrong" or having that gut feeling that you should of said something and not and having something as horrible as someone dying or getting bullied of even with the enviroment with people not caring. The speech says that we are doing more harm by not caring then standing up getting angry. The examples he uses is Treblinka and Auschwitz they claimed to be guarded secrets that the leadears of the free world didn't know what was going on behind those black gates and barbed wire that they had no knowledge of war against the Jews that Hitlers armies and there accomplices waged as part of the war against the Allies. If they knew we would think that they would have intervened, or have spokeken out with great outrage and conviction.

Top 3 Chessecakes.
If I had to choose top three anything it would be the top three cheesecake flavors. It would all depend on if you want fruity, sweet or chocolaty. That creamy cheesecake or firm and melt in your mouth type. There are so many different flavours of cheese cake. My first pick would have to be the classic rasberry chessecake the original chesscake topped with fresh rasberry topping.. everybite is delicious. My second choice would be resess peanut butter cup or anything chocalaty. That rich chocalate and pieces of chocolate in everybite just makes you want to take another bite.

Super POWER!!
Super powers the first thing I think of would be to fly, but that wouldn't work in the off seasons especially winter. Then I was thinking the force fields but I don't get in very many fights . So therefore Do Do Do Do Do Do Do Do di di dee daaa doooo (super hero theme song)I would like to have the super power of teleportation. Teleportation has a lot of advantages which I think would be a adventure everyday .. Say you have a endrenalen rush and you just picture yourself on a rollercoaster in disneyland or skydiving to the extreme. If you are watching a nba basketball on t.v when you could just be at the game in a blink of a eye. This would help with travel costs and the enviroment with out using cars or buses.
